1. Who we are

Speed Resumes provides an online tool that helps you create, tailor, and download resumes, including features that use artificial intelligence to generate and analyze resume content. In these Terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Speed Resumes, and “you” refers to the person using the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. You may sign in with an email and password or through a supported third-party provider such as Google.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Submit content that is false, misleading, or that you do not have the right to use.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Use automated means to access the Service in a way that exceeds reasonable use or circumvents usage limits.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the information and content you provide, such as your work history, skills, and resume text (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit Your Content as needed to operate the Service, including sending it to the third-party AI provider that powers our generation and analysis features. You are responsible for the accuracy of Your Content and for reviewing anything you submit to employers.

5. AI-generated content

Some features use artificial intelligence to generate or analyze resume content. AI output can contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular job, and we do not guarantee any employment outcome, interview, or hiring result. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all content before you use it.

6. Plans, billing, and cancellation

The Service offers a free plan and a paid premium plan. Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment processor, Stripe, on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose) until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method on each renewal.

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. When you cancel, your premium access continues until the end of the current billing period, and it does not renew after that. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods. We may change our prices, and we will give reasonable notice of any change before it applies to you.

7. Usage limits

The free and premium plans include limits on features such as the number of stored resumes, AI generations, analyses, and autofills. We may adjust these limits over time. We may also apply safeguards to prevent abuse, including limits related to creating and deleting accounts.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties, including Stripe for payment processing, Google for optional sign-in, and an AI provider for content generation and analysis. Your use of those features may be subject to the third party's own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or to copy or modify the Service, except as needed to use it as intended.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any result obtained from it will be accurate or reliable.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, opportunities, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm us, other users, or third parties. When your account is deleted, we handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
